Need parts for 1989 VR

I find that I am in need of two parts for my ride.

 

#1 If any member has the right engine guard that is not scratched up I would appreciate a heads up PM or email and maybe we can strike some sort of deal.

 

#2 A buddy stopped by with his bike, and he has a bit of chrome on the fairing, directly below the mirror, on the fairing edge. I do not think this was a stock item, and looks to be some sort of stick on aftermarket. If someone has two of these (right and left) on a bike that they can be peeled off...or if there is a supplier for these I sure would like to know.

I, too, have been on the lookout for the fairing edge protection pieces you are referrng to. The last set I saw was on Ebay about a year ago and the winning bidder won them for well over a 100.00. It wasn't me. I bought a set back in 89 or 90 for 8.95. Good luck.

I have one side of the chrome protection pieces but not the other. I used plastic chrome adhesive puieces from Pep Boys to make my protector/dress up pieces...
