Depending when you bought your unit you may be eligible for free upgrade to 09 map or you may just be buying it. Point is, it takes anywhere from 2 to 4+ hours to download depending on your computer. This is also assuming you have high speed internet. Longest download I ever did. I also want to say that if you purchase a Garmin on e-bay or any auction site Garmin will NOT honor warranty. There are some good prices on line and they state full warranty but not true. Garmin states this on warranty paper in box. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
