I just picked up a 1987 Venture Royale with a 2 person sidecar and want to change the sparkplugs, but can't seem to find a socket to fit the hole! I looked at it with a flashlight and the distance between the sprakplug and the wall is very thin. Is there a special way to get these out?

Deep 18mm swivel socket or socket w/universal... 3/8 drive.....10-12" extention and rachet..This setup is the easiest way to remove the spark plugs...

When installing plugs I suggest putting a thin coat of anti seize on the threads...

Thanks to all! I ended up with borrowing the tool kit from my V Star and using the spark socket. It fit good, but had to sit there whit a 17mm wrench to turn it and with that little bit of spce it took along time.
