Steve S Posted Saturday at 10:37 PM #1 Posted Saturday at 10:37 PM Good evening fellow riders. My Bro-in-law and I made it back home this afternoon after a trip down to Natchez MS on the Natchez Trace. We got on the Natchez Trace Parkway a little SW of Nashville TN and took 2 days to get to Natchez, with a night in Tupelo MS. We crossed the Mississippi River and stayed in Vidalia Louisiana Thursday night. I have been up and down the Mississippi River hundreds of times in my career as a towboater and driven through Vidalia several times chasing boats down for crew change but never spent the night there. We were blessed to stay in a hotel that was right on the river. 4
Freebird Posted Saturday at 11:21 PM #2 Posted Saturday at 11:21 PM Sounds like a great ride. Wish I could have been there. 1

bpate4home Posted 7 hours ago #4 Posted 7 hours ago I've been on segments of the Natchez trace and wouldn't mind doing the whole route. First time on it we were passing quite a few. In talking to and Attorney I work with he let me know to not get caught speeding on it because it's a federal road. Getting a ticket on is not just paying a fine you have to show up in federal court. Good thing we didn't get caught 'cuz we hit some of it pretty hard. 1
