Hey all, it’s been a while since I was last on here. I haven’t been riding much the last few years. About two years ago I had Big Red’s carbs redone along with all fluids changed. After all that I let her just sit long enough for, I think, the fuel to go bad. It starts but, as soon as I try to turn off the choke and/or give even the slightest throttle the engine dies. Anyone in the San Antonio area have insight for me?

Spray a can full of carb cleaner into about 1/4 tank of fuel, let it run until it's warm. Do this 4 times and see if it make an improvement. Use the spray stuff, I find it works much better than the pour in stuff.

I thought carb cleaner would damage the rubber seals and the fuel needle tip which is rubber usually.
