Pasta Burner Posted May 13, 2023 Posted May 13, 2023 Anybody have any advice for helping out short leg riders reach the ground? I’ve got an 87 VR and love it. Problem is I have a 30” inseam and when I have the wifey with me I’m very unstable at stops, esp off camber intersections. I’m looking into boots with thicker soles but any suggestions are welcome. I don’t really want to modify the bikes suspension as I want it to perform as designed. I have an aftermarket Corbin seat that I wouldn’t mind having chopped if necessary.
Marcarl Posted May 13, 2023 Posted May 13, 2023 Yep, thicker soles and lower the seat some. Bet you would be happy with a mere 2 inches.

N3FOL Posted May 14, 2023 Posted May 14, 2023 I didn't modify my '07's suspension and I am just like most...I want to keep it the way it was designed. At 5'5", normal Timberland or Red Wing boots does the trick for me. 1
