Finikey audio system

I just purchased a used 2000 Venture with the audio system. When the ignition switch is in the "acc" position, the audio system works fine. But when I turn the key to the "on" position, the audio system turns off, but the bike runs fine. Anyone had this problem and if so, what was the fix??

Don't really know the answer, but on the 1st gens there are 2 power wires going to the audio, one for constsant power and one for switched power. If that is the case with yours, could be something flukie with that. That being said, members have had other problems with the ignition switch, so you might look at that.
