jurob Posted June 15, 2014 Share #1 Posted June 15, 2014 It's a 2000 millenium and the UP button for radio station, bass, etc... Is not working. The bass is at -6 and treble is at -2. Sound quality is horrendous and I'm sure would sound a whole lot better at 0 0 versus what it has now. I took apart the fairing and the stereo controller so I'm pretty confident that it's the button versus a connection. Also disconnected the battery. Tks! eusa1 Posted June 15, 2014 Share #4 Posted June 15, 2014 Try pulling the head unit from the fairing and leaving it out for several minutes
bongobobny Posted June 15, 2014 Share #5 Posted June 15, 2014 Leave the battery disconnected for several hours, like overnight, that should do it...
djh3 Posted June 15, 2014 Share #6 Posted June 15, 2014 To reset codes on my Durango, you have to disconnect the battery then turn the key on for a few moments. It drains the stored voltage I guess. I have not tried it on the bike.

jurob Posted June 15, 2014 Author Share #8 Posted June 15, 2014 It worked! Two hours and cycled the key on and off. Might try reversing the pins temporarily so I can raise the bass and treble in the future.
djh3 Posted June 15, 2014 Share #9 Posted June 15, 2014 I have seen one of those control units for sale somewhere in my ravels thru the internet in the last say 2 months. You might try splitting the fairing and some cleaning and dielectric grease on pins just for grins. Ya never know might be the magic trike.
