Flyinfool Posted June 12, 2014 Share #1 Posted June 12, 2014 This is a story of self-control and marksmanship. A woman survived a grizzly bear attack with one well-placed shot from her itsy bitsy .25 caliber Beretta Jetfire. These are her own words.: While out hiking in Alberta Canada with my boyfriend, we were surprised when a huge grizzly bear came charging at us out of nowhere. She must have been protecting her cubs because she was extremely aggressive. If I had not had my little Beretta Jetfire I would not be here today! I yanked it out of my purse and fired one shot. It hit my boyfriend in his kneecap and the bear caught him easily. While the grizzly mauled the poor cripple, I was able to escape by just walking away at a brisk pace. I love that pistol… I'll find other boyfriends.
XV1100SE Posted June 12, 2014 Share #2 Posted June 12, 2014 Self preservation. She probably figured she could find a boyfriend that made more money and could afford to take her to hotels instead of a tent in the woods.
Flyinfool Posted June 12, 2014 Author Share #3 Posted June 12, 2014 Another very good reason to not teach the wife/girlfriend how to shoot.

Flyinfool Posted June 12, 2014 Author Share #5 Posted June 12, 2014 In your case, the Warden may not even need to fire a shot, just walk away at a brisk pace...... Good thing there are no grizzly in WV.

CaptainJoe Posted June 13, 2014 Share #11 Posted June 13, 2014 (edited) Anyone up for some Boar Hunting in Guntersville? during the Rally? I might be ... Saw where people mentioned it. Is there a place that will cook it if we bag one? do they allow semi automatic 30-06's? Edited June 13, 2014 by CaptainJoe
