Brake Pad

Recommended Posts

Just got the 12K service done on the bike, along with, I had 1-1/2 inch risers put on the handlebars, and a battery tender, attachment. next the tires I just ordered, Bridgestones 704/709's set for 300.00 bucks. my local honda shop said they'd install for 25.00 bucks each.

I hope the Bridgestones work better on the Goldwing than on my old Venture. they made the bike feel heavy and slow in the corners, and then the sidewalls cracked. Not criticizing your choice, just letting you know my feelings...

I have mine just about where it needs to be too Mike.

In the past two months I;

  • Rebuilt the front end, seals, slides, guides and fresh oil
  • Flushed brake lines front & rear
  • New brake pads front & rear
  • Flushed clutch line
  • Oil & filter change
  • Removed, cleaned & re-lubed hand lever pins
  • Installed adjustable passenger foot pegs
  • Installed 12 volt plug in left passenger glove box
  • Installed battery tender power cord with inline fuse

Will be getting Traxxion rear shock installed in two weeks, and in about a month or so a I will get a pair of new sneakers on it.

Then I will be ready for many unfamiliar miles....
