Flyinfool Posted May 16, 2013 Share #2 Posted May 16, 2013 I use the PS4933 oil filter from NAPA for $6.49. It includes both O-rings.
timgray Posted May 17, 2013 Share #3 Posted May 17, 2013 Look it up on Rockauto.com. Last I saw them $6.00 each and came with both o rings. The Yamma dealers take the rings out of the package and then try to sell them to you at $6.00 each.
dbikers Posted May 17, 2013 Share #4 Posted May 17, 2013 my local bike shop offers the local HIFLO HF303 (not chrome) for about $8.50 and comes with the o-ring. http://www.hiflofiltro.com/fileadmin/code/images/large/HF303+C.jpg i may try some others from NAPA and Autozone for my next change to save a buck or

abusive throttle cranker Posted May 17, 2013 Share #7 Posted May 17, 2013 Do not use a FRAM. Da bleepin' thing is made of cardboard! No thank you!
MiCarl Posted May 17, 2013 Share #8 Posted May 17, 2013 Do not use a FRAM. Da bleepin' thing is made of cardboard! No thank you! The CH6002 has metal ends. It's the spin on where there has been concern about cardboard caps. I've never quite grasped why cardboard is a concern when the element itself is paper...... ddoggma Posted May 17, 2013 Share #9 Posted May 17, 2013 NAPA part# PS 4933 Just like the guy above told ya. Its a wix and comes with the rings.
MiCarl Posted May 18, 2013 Share #10 Posted May 18, 2013 The FRAM CH6002 is also supposed to have o-rings. If you got one without o-rings it was either a production error or someone removed them. Are some dealers really removing the o-rings from the Fram and selling separately? That's pretty low brow in my opinion. The Yamaha filter does not include the o-rings.
