BradT Posted February 5, 2008 Share #3 Posted February 5, 2008 There a pain to get off and a bigger pain to get back on, so I left them off my 86, rode it for a couple years without them (no probems as well). Brad
Yammer Dan Posted February 5, 2008 Share #4 Posted February 5, 2008 Learned to fight them back on there. Good thing is they bend a little.
Marcarl Posted February 5, 2008 Share #5 Posted February 5, 2008 Mine are now keeping the heat in on a shelve, want them to add to your collection? or maybe you'd like two sets so you can practise putting them in and out. Less weight means the scoot goes faster and better gas mileage, haven't noticed either one really. Moral of this story: leave them off, they don't make no never mind.
