Flyinfool Posted January 12, 2013 Share #5 Posted January 12, 2013 Several years ago my boss tried to get me to fly to Australia in January because the air conditioners that we built were failing. I thought it sounded like fun till I found out that they were failing because the temps were 130-140+F in the shade. The AC units were only designed for a max of 130F. I then explained to my boss that he should go, and I will stay here to figure out what needs to be done and then he can implement the field change. I spent a bunch of time running in and out of a 150F environmental chamber testing the "fix". that was bad enough. I cant imagine being there. I don't do heat well.
