if you are ever in NW Alabama go to DISMALS Canyon... it's well worth the trip ...the pictures DO NOT do the place justice

it is a very nice area they have night tours an they have what they call dismalites its a gowing bug , not a firefly and this is the onl place they are found.... Dismals Canyon has been in several movies, "Jurassic Park" & The last "Tom Sawyer" movie comes to mind, Discovery Channel stayed about a month filming...http://www.dismalscanyon.com/
