I went to the Yamaha Dealer to get fork oil... the instruction in the progressive spring set recommended 10 or 15 wt and specificallly advised against 20wt oil. All Yamaha had was 20 wt. nothing else! I ended up going to a honda dealership where they had 5 or 10 wt...no 15. So I bought the 10 wt Honda fork and shock oil....$9.00 for 1/2 litre!!!! Marcarl Posted August 6, 2011 Share #4 Posted August 6, 2011 If it makes you feel better, Brantford MC charged me $18.00 L for the last I bought about a year ago, that works out to pretty close to $9.00 a half liter. When I resealed my forks, I searched several places and read that a lot of folks just use plain old ATF fluid in there forks and were very happy with the ride quality.
