csogbk Posted May 14, 2011 Share #1 Posted May 14, 2011 Had a few questions I was hoping someone could answer: Will any Harley touring bike mufflers work or are the Road Kings prefered? Can they be any year, I understand newer ones have a catalytic converter in them, does this affect sound or my RSVs engine? Will adding these mufflers require any engine adjustments? There should be no ill effects from running a converter on one side, but it may sound "funny". Will adding these mufflers require any engine adjustments? no, the backpressure comes from the restrictive headpipes, not the mufflers. Are the brackets sold on the classifieds page still being made? I got a set off EBay for $24.00 and will use P clamps to install. Still need topic up the V Twin clamps. Going to see if one of my local HD shops have them. Thanks for all the input guys!!
