Gary I don't know - he just said that he cracked his crankcase cover when he fixed something in his transmission - would that be the mid drive? He cracked his because he had some gears turned around. He's on vacation this week and was planning to ride but can't cause his bike is down. I offered him my trike but he said it isn't the same as riding his own - which is true!
