New Orleans ride

My wife and left yesterday about 4:30 PM and rode the bike down River Road (Mississippi River). Took almost 2 hours to cover the 98 miles, because of all the curves and little towns. Beautiful ride seeing all of the plantation homes and old houses. Ate supper at a little seafood restraunt we know, great local fare. and then rode home up the interstate. It was only 63 miles that way and took an hour. Suprisingly cool last night. What a way to spend 5 hours.

Lyle, where did you eat, river road ride is one of the best rides, another good one is hwy 22 from Sorrento all the way up ot I 55..........Makes me a little homesick..

Lewis we ate at a small lace on Williams Blvd name The Harbor. Stuff served in plasic trays nless it needs plates or bowls. Cut down on the price, but the food sure is good. Lle

So you ate in Kenner, thats where I grew up and lived for most of my life........really miss the area, but couldnt go back now for anything except to visit, still have quite a few friends that live in Kenner. I take it you ate close to river rd, on Williams Blvd. Any chance you can make the Memphis ride in 2 weeks? Meandog and Kbran are going to make it.
