Hey Clint,

The lower fairing "leg" is the same on all of the First Gens. Except for the color.

That's a good price for it as long as there are no broken mounting tabs. I would send the guy an email and ask the condition of the mounting tabs, just to be sure.

Thanks Earl! It has one mounting tab broken off. I think i'm gonna go ahead and get it though, just wanted to make sure it would fit properly since it's off a 93. Thanks again!

What is different that makes the front spoiler fit on MKII's?

If you're talking about the plastic lower chin off the MKII it will bolt right up IF you have the lower engine guards with the mounting tabs that stick out. If not you will need to find a set off '86 and up.

 

If your are talking about the metal chin that bolts right on to the '83 - '85. NOW.....that thing is on the metal ones you need the spacers to mount it. From what I've seen.....they usually don't come with them. Lil fab work would be required.

 

I put an '86 chin on my '84 last year to protect the spin on oil filter. Like the look. Had to buy the crash bars.
