So far this November, ...

We've had 230 Millimetes of rain (average is 180)

We've had 30 hours of sun (average is 66)

Our ski hills have all opened early (there's 3 main ones) and our "Olympic" hill (Whistler) has had more snow than ever for November.

geeesh... what's yet to come I wonder.... all a result of el ninio (sp?)

I will be out there soon (leaving here in 2 weeks) , for winter holidays. Plan on getting some riding in, at above freezing temps...........

Relax Rick.....for the first time I actually bought snow tires for the truck. This pretty much guarantees no snow for us this winter. Speaking of the truck, I had better go scrape the moss off it. ( blankety blank rain)

Can I hold ya to that Kerry? :D

did ya sell the Merc or are ya putting snow tires on it too? (yeahsureright)

Yea, I was not impressed... Of the 14 days I was there - rain on all but 1 of them... I guess it was quite the change from where I am in Texas. Our annual average is something like 18" (~460mm) per year

You can send some of that rain our way if you like.

In our part of ozz its been tough

Worst drought since records began,

Hottest November ever, with temps in 40's for over a week at a time

& up to 45C. Just a couple hundred K's west of here experienced 49

for days, which is not uncommon in summer, but unheard of in the end of Spring.

El Nino ? Maybe

Lets hope things turn around for better soon.

Tony.
