Thistledown Posted April 10, 2009 Share #1 Posted April 10, 2009 I have a 06 RSV with the pillow top seats. Have just noticed that there is an area on both the passengers and riders seat that is turning gray, like the black dye is fading. has any one else experienced this? Does any one know how to fix this an do you think it would be covered under the factory guarantee ? The bike is always garaged and I have frequently used leather products on the seats. cecdoo Posted April 10, 2009 Share #2 Posted April 10, 2009 I wonder if the products you are using are causing the problem? I dont think the seats are leather, the stock seats are vinyl. I also have an 06, no problems yet. Craig

Mariner Fan Posted April 10, 2009 Share #5 Posted April 10, 2009 Has anyone covered their seats with leather? Seems like a great idea except for getting it wet.
MoRiverRat Posted April 10, 2009 Share #6 Posted April 10, 2009 My Corbin seats are leather and I ride in the rain a lot - no problems after 8 years and 60k miles.
Mariner Fan Posted April 10, 2009 Share #7 Posted April 10, 2009 My Corbin seats are leather and I ride in the rain a lot - no problems after 8 years and 60k miles. Do you put a leather treatment on it? Seems it would breath alot better than vinyl.
