Just bought a Carton

Just stopped at the smoke shop, was told that next week our new fearless leader has slapped a $5.00 a carton new Federal Tax on, per carton.

Goes in effect next week.

 

I'm wondering if motorcycles will be on the hit list !! ( an obvioius evil ) must be taxed !! :stirthepot:

I haven't bought a carton for ages but at $7.50 a pak I'm guessing the carton cost about $70 ... yikes!

the lady said, $5.00 a carton, increase next week, its a Federal Tax.

 

Anyway, thats what she told me. On top of whatever they cost in your state.

 

So, I imagine there will be other new tax's on other things, stay tuned !!

The carbon cap and trade scheme will make gasoline too expensive to ride. Don't worry though, it's not a tax - it's a fee.

You know, I was thinking about that today. I'm retired now, and plenty of time for doing the rolling !!! I will look into it---
