juggler Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 I finally finished my fence. It only took me since May until today to get all of it put up. Of course I started three years ago when I drilled the holes and started putting posts in the ground. My neighbors have never looked so good as they do now. I have some trim work to do on the top of the posts and landscaping along the bottom to do, but that won't happen until spring.
BradT Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 I am sure your happy it is complete, so that you can enjoy it now. PS where's the pictures Brad

juggler Posted October 19, 2008 Author Posted October 19, 2008 Sounds like yours and mine time frames run about the same for projects!! Dan Well, I don't want to over work myself. BTW: The fence is 170 feet long and covers only two sides of our yard. When we get more money I have to extend the retaining walls around the last side and the front of the house. Then I can continue the fence on top of the retaining wall.
juggler Posted October 19, 2008 Author Posted October 19, 2008 Sounds like you'll be done around 2012!! I'm not sure about that. I wouldn't want to push it that hard.
juggler Posted October 23, 2008 Author Posted October 23, 2008 Here are the pictures. http://elisabethviola.blogspot.com/2008/10/fence-post-4.html
Snaggletooth Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 What's that old saying? Good fences make good neighbors. With a couple of mine I'm thinking barb wire and electricity.
juggler Posted October 23, 2008 Author Posted October 23, 2008 What's that old saying? Good fences make good neighbors. With a couple of mine I'm thinking barb wire and electricity. The city code for St. Paul, MN explicitly prohibits barbed wire and/or electric fences. I checked. I think they also included razor wire. Now to mount the gun turrets.
