Yama Mama Posted October 14, 2008 Share #1 Posted October 14, 2008 Sunday Ron and I rode to Natural Bridge and Red River Gorge, which is located in the Daniel Boone National Forest. We have been there before, and just spontaneously decided to go there again. But I forgot how steep the trails are. Really beautiful. Here are some photos. I am still sore, but it was still fun. Bob Myers Posted October 14, 2008 Share #3 Posted October 14, 2008 I'm fortunate enough to live only 35 miles from there, been many, many times and still marvel at the scenery. Looks like you caught the color wheel turning too, yellow this week, next week is best when the reds start, its alway pretty there then.
BuddyRich Posted October 15, 2008 Share #4 Posted October 15, 2008 They got Paved roads now.... We use to camp out there a lot in the 60's and 70's. Looks like they might even have electricity now... What ever you do you don't want to wind up in the Powell county jail, Don't ask how I know this...

ibents Posted October 15, 2008 Share #6 Posted October 15, 2008 Great pics Peggy, we were down there in the early 70's...before we had kids...it was about this time of year and the colors were gorgeous, we also took the cable car up to the top, absolutely breath taking. Will have to do the run on a bike one of these days. Ian
