Good morning to all. Hope you are able to get some ride time in. I have been last week and all weekend long. Got called in to work over the weekend, so took advantage of the nice weather. Yesterday, I was able to install a good quality LED bulb and the difference is outstanding. I should have done this long time ago. Installing was much easier to split the fairing and get it done the right way. Today is oil change day for the RSV. I’ve been using Rotella. Also bought nice looking spots by Denali and will install D3 lighting. Ride safe and enjoy the weather wherever you are.

The rain has passed away and the sun and tree pollen in full force, but this will not deter me from riding. Another good looking week ahead. Always ride safe.

Also looking forward to our Ontario get together s with Ice-cream and maybe a little ride! Always a great time seeing people we haven't seen since last year! Hopefully more show up this year!

Been able to get out a few more times this past week ! Weather is still sketchy lately with high winds and rain but will have some great ridding ahead!

Congrats! Glad you finally got out! Sorry we couldn't get your center-stand mounted like you wanted but if you ever need any help you know who to call!!

My plug was in the lower left fairing hope that helps anyone in the future

The kickstand was removed from the bike so I have no way of following the wires back up to the plug

Not sure how much this will help, but here is a screen grab from the tech library SIDE STAND SWITCH.pdf

Does anyone know the location of the kickstand plug I've looked all over the bike but I cannot seem to find it I'm talking about the blue side that plugs into the bike any information is appreciated

So I’m still looking for help with the sputtering, power loss and quitting issues I posted about in earlier posts and freely admit I’m beginning to wonder about the value of this site. After more consideration I’m wondering if maybe it’s the fuel pump relay. When I hit the start button I’m not getting the clicking of the fuel pump being primed. Even with the downloaded service manual, I can’t find this relay. Anyone know where it’s located on the 1998 RSTD? I’ll post this is more than one place in hopes someone will see and know the answer. Thanks in advance. Precious

Does anyone know how the heck I get the fuel pump mounting bracket off the old pump? It appears to be held on by a single screw but I can't budge the darn thing! What am I missing? Sorry for the double post, but figure someone might see it on one or other topics.
