dingy Posted November 18, 2012 Share #1 Posted November 18, 2012 RSV wiring diagrams show a throttle position sensor. Where is this sensor located. In the throttle hand grip, cable junction box or the carb rack seem like likely places. Gary
dingy Posted November 18, 2012 Author Share #2 Posted November 18, 2012 OK, found it in service manual, it is on carb rack. The one place I had hoped it wouldn't be. Anyone got a good picture of it. BKuhr and myself would be very interested in how this is set up. Gary

BKuhr (Brian) has been working on a way to get a TPS on a 1st gen. Want to try it with the Ignitech TCI's in place of the Vacuum boost. The TCI was designed for motors with a TPS. bkuhr Posted November 18, 2012 Share #6 Posted November 18, 2012 Gary, Looking at RSV part breakdown, TPS appears to be bolted over throttle plate shaft. Someone can verify. Our throttle plate shaft is nearly flush with carb wall, and we lack mounting pointson carbs, it may be difficult for direct carb attachment. Still looking at TPS added to throttle junction box. Bidding on 87 cable set. Have you tried the mockup yet?
