Squidley Posted August 8, 2011 Share #3 Posted August 8, 2011 Mike, If you have the hubs off your trailer take them into a trailer supply house or good autoparts store like Carquest and have them measure the ID of the hub to get the right dimention. Flyinfool Posted August 8, 2011 Share #4 Posted August 8, 2011 Or even easier, take one of your caps in to have them measure it. Since the bearings are an oddball metric size I would assume that there is a good chance the bearing caps are also metric.

For future reference, what are the Timken numbers for the cheap Chinese ones???

Flyinfool Posted August 8, 2011 Share #7 Posted August 8, 2011 (edited) thanks guys, i`ll head to a auto store for help. i take my dust cap and let them measure off that. Make sure to let them know that you think it might be metric so that they do not just pick the close inch size. Which is what you already have. The 2047 Bering Buddy is the next bigger size from the 1.98 that you said was to loose. http://www.bearingbuddy.com/select.html Edited August 8, 2011 by Flyinfool
