There is a thread by v7goose for doing this on a 2nd gen venture. Would be the same on the RSTD.
V7Goose Posted September 3, 2011 Share #3 Posted September 3, 2011 There is a thread by v7goose for doing this on a 2nd gen venture. Would be the same on the RSTD.That, and the shop manual is available for free download on this site. FuzzyRSTD Posted September 4, 2011 Share #4 Posted September 4, 2011 http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=59791 http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=59904 Hope this helps. I think all you will need in any way is in these two threads. Do be very careful with the plastic drain plug. Very easy to break or strip. There is a difference in the antifreeze, so be careful here to. Also get you some distilled water at Wally-World to. This is not a bad job. I drained evreything except the water pump. My bike had I think 13,000 at the time. If I was doing it again, I would have waited until around 20,000 or so. Fuzzy
