:rotfl:For those of you who are sick of getting emails that tell you to forward it to at least X number of people in the next 15 minutes so that wonderful things and miracles will happen if you do, or there will be serious consequences if you don't, then you will enjoy this. Make sure your volume is on, this is great. This is hilarious! (and it's ABOUT TIME someone did this!) http://info.org.il/irrelevant/may02-smilepop-soapbox4.swf :rotfl:

Ok I’m going to have to say it but this 07 is faster, has a more responsive throttle and handles much better then my 03 Midnight. Also has a better radio, on my 03 I had to have the volume on 24 to hear the music out of the bikes speaker @ 70 mph, well I went on my break-in ride yesterday (340 miles) and I could hear the music with the volume set at 18, man what a bike. And like HIDRSV it’s PRETTY! Had some popping so I plugged the AIS and installed the Stebel Crome Nautilus which I ordered Wednesday morning and received yesterday, fast shipping from CALIFORNIA SPORT TOURING

The volume control has gone out on my CB. I have had the unit checked out and there's nothing wrong with the CB just the volume switch. Does anyone have any idea where i can get a compatable switch? I don't want to spend big bucks on another CB if I can just replace the switch.

There's been some discussion lately about headset noise, but allow me to tell my particular flavor of it and see if y'all can help. I just installed headsets and used them for the first time. Generally I am please, as the sound quality thru the system and the J&M headsets is very good, but there's some engine noise that I wish wasn't there. I've not noticed the same noise in the speakers. Here are some characteristics of my noise: - clicky-staticy, not whine. Does this indicate ignition, as opposed to alternator/power? - related to engine RPM. - NOT related to radio or intercom volume setting - if either is on and engine running, the noise is there. Does this mean the interference is happening downstream of the amp? - related to front-and-rear individual volume. attenuators...the ones on the handlebars and near the passenger plug-in. Turning these down from MAX definitely cuts the noise down. - same in front or rear jack (assuming the above mentioned attenuators are set the same). Interference happening somewhere between power amp and the front/rear split? Any likely places? Where is that split? My ignition is stock. Wires appear original; I haven't tested their resistance but I have checked the condition of the resistors in the caps which appear normal. Plugs are resistor type. I have another comment on the individual attenuators. They don't just cut volume, they also alter the sound quality negatively when turned down. The best way I can describe it is that the stereo effect seems to gradually go away as you approach the MIN setting. So, turning the attenuators down and the amp volume up minimizes the engine noise, but also reduces sound quality Anybody experienced this? Thanks, Jeremy

Hey guys. I know that this has been brought up before and I wanted to share with ya'll what I just found. http://www.crutchfield.com/S-51I56E4bKZj/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=51000&I=105CSBB2 dimensions: 11-5/8"W x 2-1/2"H x 7-7/8"D It'd fit, I think, in a saddlebag, maybe in the trunk... would definately take up a bit of room, though... It comes with a wired volume control.

My wife and I have J&M headsets in our helmets and we have no problems hearing the music from the stock radio. I also have attached a GPS with XM included. I run the audio wire from the GPS into the cassette player when I want to use the GPS. The volume is never turned up beyond 10-15 when I'm listening to the FM but when I listen to XM I have to turn it all the way to to the max 30. This is barely loud enough for us to hear but nothing I do will turn it up any louder. Anyone have a suggestion for this?
