    I had to replace my ignition now I have key to start my bike and one to open the trunks. Does anyone know if the two keys can be combine

    How do. I"m a newbie, but so far luvin' my 88 royale. I was given only one key with it, and since it's not the original, I don't have the key code. (Not written down in the manual either). Is there another way to find the key code? ....Can I get duplicates cut at the dealership? Knowing my history with keys, I don't wanna wait too long to get a couple of duplicates. Great site, seems to be a real family of members here. Update: I went to key-men.com and they were able to make duplicates from a scan of the key I have. It's a bit pricey at $13 per key, but I felt it was well worth it for the convenience of simply scanning my key and sending it to them. Thanks everyone for the input!

    Recently my house burn't with my key's in it. I looked and dug through the debris but with no luck. I have called all the locksmiths in town but they all say the same thing "We don't do motorcycles". I called the dealer and they can sell me an ignition key but i would have to buy seperate keys and locks for the trunk and saddle bags. Any suggestions?     i bought an 83 venture for parts and it turned out to be a great fixer upper. problem is that i don't have the keys to it. does anyone out there have the complete ignition set for a venture for sale. i need the main ignition, saddle bags, fuel cover, rear bag and dash compartmet ignition and key? Ray.

    I'm looking for a lock assembly (preferably w/ keys), Yamaha part # 4XY-W2841-00-00. If anyone knows where I can get a used one I'd appreciate it. Thanks, Scotty
