  8. You have a good memory! Yes, I did change my mind a few month's ago. A few reason's .... a) I really love the Victory b) if I bought a 5th wheel, I'd also have to trade my truck in for something more powerful and heavier. c) The whole concept started turning into
  9. I agree with the Road Star as I also have one. Personally I'd choose it over the Kaw ... considerably more power. That said, I've not road tested the newer Kaw 1700 but I do like the looks of them. BTW, the Roadie is for sale .... the Vic is NOT ! LOL
  10. haHAhaHAhaHAhaHAhaHAhaHAhaHAhaHAhaHAhaHAhaHAhaHAhaHAhaHAhaHAhaHAhaHAhaHA EDIT: guess I should take that back since I never told y'all I changed my mind
  11. I now ride a Victory Cross Country Tour. Prev bike was an '03 Wing, 06 RSMV, 87 VR, 85 VR. The Vic is As heavy as an RSV but feels much, much lighter. It's considerably easier to maneuver especially at low speed and you can ride 2-up comfortably all day long. In fact, for me the stock seat is the most comfortable seat of any bike I've had.
  12. Eck, seems there might be some truth to what they say about a Wing .... "tupperware boat" ! :stickpoke: All kidding aside, glad you made it through.

  17. Recently here a young woman received her 14th distracted driving offense. A while ago they changed the laws so that anything over 4 would mean 3 points against their licence ... one would think by 14 they'd be losing the licence. Apparently not in this case ... just another $167 fine. Now they're upping the penalties. I'm all fo that but what purpose does it serve if they don't drastically increase enforcement.
  18. Why - At 70 yrs, I don't belong on face book! Should I Really Join Facebook? (Priceless) Read it all the way through! It's a good laugh! AND really quite true!! A good laugh for people in the over 70 group !!! When I bought my Blackberry, I thought about the 30-year business I ran with 1800 employees, all without a cell phone that plays music, takes videos, pictures and communicates with Facebook and Twitter. I signed up under duress for Twitter and Facebook, so my seven kids, their spouses, my 13 grand kids and 2 great grand kids could communicate with me in the modern way. I figured I could handle something as simple as Twitter with only 140 characters of space. My phone was beeping every three minutes with the details of everything except the bowel movements of the entire next generation. I am not ready to live like this. I keep my cell phone in the garage in my golf bag. The kids bought me a GPS for my last birthday because they say I get lost every now and then going over to the grocery store or library. I keep that in a box under my tool bench with the Blue tooth [it's red] phone I am supposed to use when I drive. I wore it once and was standing in line at Barnes and Noble talking to my wife and everyone in the nearest 50 yards was glaring at me. I had to take my hearing aid out to use it, and I got a little loud. I mean the GPS looked pretty smart on my dash board, but the lady inside that gadget was the most annoying, rudest person I had run into in a long time. Every 10 minutes, she would sarcastically say, "Re-calc-u-lating." You would think that she could be nicer. It was like she could barely tolerate me. She would let go with a deep sigh and then tell me to make a U-turn at the next light. Then if I made a right turn instead. Well, it was not a good relationship... When I get really lost now, I call my wife and tell her the name of the cross streets and while she is starting to develop the same tone as Gypsy, the GPS lady, at least she loves me. To be perfectly frank, I am still trying to learn how to use the cordless phones in our house. We have had them for 4 years, but I still haven't figured out how I lose three phones all at once and have to run around digging under chair cushions, checking bathrooms, and the dirty laundry baskets when the phone rings. The world is just getting too complex for me. They even mess me up every time I go to the grocery store. You would think they could settle on somethingthemselves but this sudden "Paper or Plastic?" every time I check out just knocks me for a loop. I bought some of those cloth reusable bags to avoid looking confused, but I never remember to take them with me. Now I toss it back to them. When they ask me, "Paper or plastic?" I just say, "Doesn't matter to me. I ambi-sacksual." Then it's their turn to stare at me with a blank look. I was recently asked if I tweet. I answered, No, but I do fart a lot." P.S. I know some of you are not over 70. I sent it to you to allow you to forward it to those who are......Not me I figured your sense of humor could handle it....We senior citizens don't need anymore gadgets. The TV remote and the garage door remote are about all we can handle.
  19. Appears not according to this article .... http://www.adweek.com/adfreak/samsung-just-made-motorcycle-windshield-checks-your-texts-calls-and-emails-170294 Next it will be in a HUD on a car windshield.
  20. not sure how 'pee' got into this unless my words "wired and frazzled" painted some kinda mental image .... LMAO!!!
  21. Several years ago I rented a shop and started up an auto body repair and painting biz. The building was an old shop on a farm. The farmer helped me to hook up a bunch of fluorescence lights and he never turned off the power. Told me "as long as you're only touching ONE wire, you're fine". A few years later I was doing a kitchen remodel job and needed more electrical lines with breakers including 110 and 220 but there was no room on the existing panel so ... I "hot wired" another panel box with 220 by only handling one wire at a time!! I'm still here albeit a little "wired and frazzled" at times LOL!
  22. I can't say if it will or not on that computer. You should compare your hardware specs to those recommended for Win10. Also, I think there is a utility from Microsoft that you can run that will analyze your hardware to determine if it is up-to-snuff for Win10. The software you have installed should be fine. You probably lost your passwords because you let ccleaner clean out your cookies.
  23. ummmmmm ... aahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... nope, not gonna say it!!!
  24. You could probably eat it more often if'n you didn't use it all up on your truck!
