  1. Depends on what you ar comfortable with. The rear is sort of a PIA to change, so I dodnt want to go with something that was going to be out of tread in 5K. My E-3's got me 10K or better. I put a set of Michelein Commander II on as replacements. I have thought about Shinkos but couldnt find any reviews on the tires from bigger bikes. I liked th etread pattern of the Michelein. On my 900 Vulcan I had really good wear from Pirelli RT66. Avons have a good following on this site by some also. Biggest thing is shope arround. Most online stores will price match. I bought several tires from Motorcycle Superstore and have had good service from them. My Michelein's came from Jake Wilson. Dennis Kirk sent me an e-mail the other week for a tire sale. So you just have to poke around and find what you wnt in your price range. Are you going to mount them yourself? Balance? Some shops may charge around $100 to swp tires if you carry in, may be better off buying them locally. :080402gudl_prv:

Don't put the Shinkos only good for about 3500 miles and I ride easy. I get around 18,000 out of my e3s

  2. I am leaving the house Friday the 16th and riding to Birmingham Al. and staying overnight there. I will then p/u the wife and she and I will be riding back home leaving Saturday morning. Plan on a 2 day ride back. Was wondering if anyone knew anything about Highway 13 up through west central Ten. Looks like a nice ride.

  4. I would like to thank everyone for coming to the rally. We had a GREAT time and great rides. As a committee member I believe I can speak for everyone and say that the venture rider family is truly amazing. We raised another large amount of money for St Jude's. The resort we stayed at was so impressed with our groups kindness. we had 114 people spend 3-4 days. Again Thank You all so much for your kind words and for reaching into your pocket and supporting the rally.

  5. Just wanted to say thanks again to the international committee for a great job and wonderful event. Being our first time to one Debbie and I had a great time. Lots of ride therapy and great people to ride and socialize with. Hope everyone makes it home safe.

Our property butts up to the Boat Club far left side of the map and the turn is right behind the house http://www.kankakeeregatta.com/upload/Regatta.map.pdf. We do have room for campers and plenty of free parking for our guests http://www.kankakeeregatta.com/upload/2013.Schedule.pdf.

  8. "Please go ahead and send in your registration, it will make things go so much faster at check in time!"

Considering time restraints with snail mail I would think it best to send in any late registrations vie e-mail now. My :2cents: worth.
