  1. Does anyone local to me (Buckley, Wa) have the male plug to the Wireing unit that fits on the Markland hitch for an MKII. I have the female end. See attachment.
  2. I have a shofar that I need to clean out. What I'd like is a tool that I can hook to a drill, were the shaft is flexable like a speedometer cable, has a ruff round ball at the end and acts like a very ruff sand paper. I need to snake it through the shofar. file:///C:/Users/Brian%20Tschabold/Downloads/2015%20Israel/Shilo1.jpeg
  3. Started with 1000 grit, will move to 2000, then 3000 then the paste polish. So far looking good.
  4. I got some Mothers brand for chrome and aluminum. Does the black ever stop coming off the stainless steel..
  5. I have some stainless steel flat surfaces that I would like to polish to a nice shine. Any inexpensive suggestions. About 1.5 sq ft area.
  6. Hi: Its me Golf & Venture. I will check soon and see if I have an extra one this weekend. Been very busy, with my new garage, kitchen remodel, Reroofing, landscaping. Will be posting pictures of my new 89 VR accessory recently added. Don't think I've ever seen any Venture with this accessory, but I could be wrong.
  7. I think I need to use a longer bolt that goes thur the passenger foot rest mount so the Hitch hardware can be mounted then with another lock washer and a bolt. Could someone please verify that, thank you.
  8. I would highly suggest a visit to the United States Air Force Academy. They have a nice visitors center. You can also stand at the Chapel Wall and view the campus. At the Chapel Wall, if you see any Cadets with a single silver squiggle line, that is a Doolie or a freshman. I would suggest taking the inititive to start a conversation. Then ask if he can give you a guided tour of the campus. I'm not sure but it could be parents weekend. If it is, it will be an absolute zoo there and try to avoid that weekend. When I was a Doolie there I would have love to have given a visitor a tour of the campus. First your get to walk on campus like a human being. Your eyes can gaze all over and you could swing your arms walking. Talking is allowed and normally greeting an upper class cadet with our shouting. Oh and did not have to square all corners. You would make a Doolies day .. Great... Class of 1977 ... Females were allowed a cadets in August of 1976... Just a bit of trivia... Enjoy...Cadet Rank.docx
  9. Ya, it is bent. Whats the chance someone would have the ride side for the left side matches up to the bolt.
  10. I'm tring to mount this MKII trailer hitch to My 89 VR. History: This Trailer Hitch was initially mounted to this same 89VR a few years back. I took it off and installed it on my 91VR. I wrecked the 91 VR. Now I'm tring to install it back onto the same 89VR. The wreck did not impact any part of the trailer system. Infact both the exhaust pipes were not touched eithor. The rear bags and crash bar took all the rear damage. So I removed the bolt (A) from the bottom of the rear trunk. I then placed the trailer hitch bar and then installed the washed then the hitch. I used the bolt (A) and slid it up into the hitch mount hole from the underside Thru the spacer into the welded nut. I did this so I could position the bar correctly and bolt the front mounting bolt. The bar looks too short for it will not mount up to any surrounding bolt. The Trailer hitch bar can side forward or backward about 3/4 of an inch. Sliding it forward or backward still does not line up to anything. Suggestions Please.
  11. Anyone with a Home Depot credit card have a 10% off mailer that they do not need. I have a Home Depot card and gave my coupon to a friend and now I need a new roof and could use a July to August coupon.
  12. Are the Crash Bars on an MKII, 7/8 or 1 inch?
  13. The question is how do I determine how many amps is available at the electrical panel in my garage. Some years ago I layed about 80 to 100 ft of underground wire from the house panel to the garage panel with a 100 amp breaker from the house. It was not copper wire due to the cost, but still met code at that time.
  14. Anyone interested in a weeks stay at The Tahoe Ridge in Nevada at Lake Tahoe. 19th Sept thru 26th June or 21st thru 28th June. Send me a PM if you are interested. http://www.ridgetahoeresort.com/
  15. Anyone uses one of these or something similar. They are like under $40.00 and would like to know if it is a good buy or just junk.
  16. Largest Clearview shield with vent. The vent air seems to smooth out the buffering if vented up. But pushing more air therefore reduces the mpg a bit.
  17. Here is a picture of the screw and washer. The washer has a sleve and the sleve is just a tiny tiny tad longer than the thickness of the shield. I could have tighten the screw even more before engaging the sleve part of the washer. I did have to use a bit longer screw than the oem screw for the clearview shield was the widest one and so the shield buldged out at the screw hole so I had to use a longer screw to get a hold of the nut's threads. But I figured that is what the sleve of the washer is for. To stop the screw from putting too much pressure on the shield. Oh well, your answer is comforting for I figured that many shields crack there just due to mileage and viberations. I would have preferred it crack several thousands miles late, rather than at installation. You know how it is when one gets something brand new. Going to install it again.
  18. As I was nearly complete mounting my new Clearview shield, I heard a crack and yep, it cracked at the upper mount near the left mirror. Is there anything that I should do at this point?
  19. Anyone upgraded to the new Drift Stealth 2 - Action camera. Like to know some pros and cons. I used to have the older larger version but never really got to used it due to the accident.
