  1. You've worked hard all your life for that day....now enjoy it!!!!!
  2. So....I take it they survived their flight with Terry?
  3. Almost forgot about Lake Erie & the beautiful wine country in upper Pennsylvaina & New York. They have fields of grape vines as big as our cornfields. Never seen so many grapes in my life.
  4. We got home early yesterday afternoon. Left the rally on Sunday morning, and headed south on 219. Beautiful scenery along this road, all through New York, Pennsylvania & West Virginia. We took alot of very back roads starting in West Virginia...a little too "back road" for hauling a camper. The extreme mountain roads(that were in terrible need of repair) were awful challenging pulling the camper. Beautiful country though, and the fall colors are starting to come in. Saw lots of reds, yellows & oranges. We decided to get on the interstate right before Charleston, WV, and rode that way up until Lexington, KY. Did some more exploring between there & home. Had a great trip, but glad to be home. Now, it's time to mow the grass...lol. Major things we took in... Niagara Falls Steam train ride in Arcade, NY Punxatawney Phil Flight 93 Memorial & crash site Abraham Lincoln's birthplace & childhood home Maker's Mark Distillery :thumbsup:
  5. I seem to remember having several hours worth of conversation with you. Probably had a few ready to jump out of their tents and wring our necks...lol.
  6. Scary. Glad to know you're gonna be ok. Time to get some brakes on that mower too. Hope you heal fast.
  7. Angel & I would like to thank Big Tom & Taters, and Bongo Bob & Becky for the hospitality they provided us on this trip. It really is appreciated. Thanks to all who put on this rally. It really was a great time, and it was well organized. We really enjoyed the scavenger hunt, even if we missed it by a few points. Great to see everyone again! We also took off, headed down 219. We took our time, stopping to see Punxatawny Phil, and then we saw the Flight 93 Memorial. We are currently holed up in the hotel, just about to enter Maryland. We'll ride down through W. Va, then into East Tn, on to Middle Tn, where we call home. Not in a big hurry. Hoping to get home sometime on Tuesday. Thanks again for the great times!
  8. And of course...our favorite. Our friends from Iceland riding Bit**.
  9. We are on our way home. Had a great time at the WNY Rally. Glad to see so many good friends again, and make new ones. We sure do have some nutjobs in this group though...myself, I am innocent.
  10. That's not sweat. It's a shadow from my hat. Not my daughter, young chicks dig me, so I married one. I don't mind if you guys are jealous. Some of us just have it like that. We are at Big Tom's, the fiberglass repair is done on the camper, and we are good to go. My Apple Pie is a huge hit with the Icelanders. Hope there will be some left for the rest of you this week.
  11. Heading over to Tom's house this morning.
  12. Will do, Bob. We are at the Comfort Inn, at Niagara Falls State Park. Had a late night last night, just walking around & checking the place out. Kind of P.O'd at the roads in Buffalo, because my camper trailer is now broken. I have pulled this thing many places, and never hit the bumps I have here. Some of the fiberglass is broken, so it's fixable. Hopefully, it can be slept in. I can fix it when we get back home. Pics will come soon.
  13. Looks like better weather for the ride on up today. Camper is around 500 lbs, and I've been getting 33 MPG. Not too bad. Come on up Cowpuc! I forgot to sign Tweeks.
  14. Roadkill is an awesome machine. 90k miles and still like a new one. Pulls this trailer like nothing.
  15. Holed up in Columbus, Ohio for the night. 400 miles today, with lots of rain.d
  16. Hitting the road a day early, headed North, to the WNY Rally. Gonna take it slow & explore some. Looks like we're gonna be riding through rain, no matter when we leave here. I'll check in when we stop for the night.
  17. 2nd Gen is 99-current. Whole different looking bike. As for 1st gen...there is a MKI and a MKII. Not sure on the years of those. '83 models were the fastest though.
  18. I know insurance companies used to charge higher rates for red vehicles. The excuse was something like the red does something to people kind of like it does a bull...sets something off in their brain. I don't know. That's just what I always heard.
  19. I found a pic of Snarly Bill & his new bike.
  20. Ass:stickpoke: Had me worried til I clicked on it.
