  1. I've never even had a garage before...always a carport, and I've always done all my work on gravel or grass, so this is a major step up for me. As soon as I get concrete poured, I'll be in hog heaven.
  2. This is the 30x60 shop I am getting with our new place. First order of business...concrete. I can fit a few bikes in there.
  3. Sorry to hear that he has passed, but glad he is in no pain. My condolences to you & your family.
  4. It's not as big as my camper trailer. I have pulled about 650 lbs with no problems whatsoever. Had no problems braking or cornering. It definitely needs a longer tongue though.
  5. Pretty sure most Walmarts carry dry ice.
  6. Probably about 30 miles or so from me. I have to work Sunday night, so I could do lunch, but not supper.
  7. You have a lot more patience & willpower than I do.
  8. Mine does it, but only if the CB is on.
  9. Finally got the offer yesterday, and I will be working in Gallatin, Tn, but still for TVA. Moving to a different, newer plant, since this one is closing at the end of 2015. So now we need to get this house sold, while finding one up there at the same time. I have to be there by October 7th. One of the houses I've been looking at looks like it's just what we want, with some land & a big new shop. (Can you say mini-maintenance day?) Not much time to get everything done, but I'm sure we'll get it worked out. We'll be closer to one of our Sons, and close to one of Angel's Sisters. It's only a little over 2 hours from here, too. No stress.
  10. Here is the patch, but they have all been ordered & delivered.
  11. Just saw this. At work right now. I'll upload a pic tomorrow.
  12. I said...Paris Landing State Park would be a good place for a rally, because it has everything we want. The Boss Hoss International Rally is held here every year. Hotels cabins camping convention center for banquet Kentucky Lake (we could rent some pontoon boats & spend a day on the lake.) All close to each other. http://state.tn.us/environment/parks/ParisLanding/ There are also some beautiful roads to ride here. Here are a few... http://www.motorcycleroads.us/roads/tn232.html http://www.motorcycleroads.com/75/517/Kentucky/The-Trace-(Through-the-Land-Between-the-Lakes).html Unfortunately, I'll be moving in a few months, so I won't be able to host.
  13. I had it all posted here with links & everything, but someone took it on themselves to delete it all.
  14. Ok, I see my post about the Paris Landing area has all been deleted. I'll just keep my mouth shut then.
  15. 750ml I don't know the ounces.

    Wing is gone

Pretty soon, this is going to be a convertible car club. J/K Buddy. You gotta do what you gotta do. Glad you found something you can still enjoy. See you at the meets. I'm still taking good care of Roadkill for you.
  17. The bad thing about shipping firearms, is that they have a tendency to disappear. I have a friend here who has a local gun shop. He is active Army, and they had several pistols customized with their 101st Airborne info & unit motto on them. He had shipped them out to his guys, and 2 of them disappeared in the Atlanta airport. All they found were the empty pistol cases, with the paperwork, lock, etc... in them. Guns & mags were gone, taken by an airport employee. He had shipped them FedEx, and they were insured. Insurance company was giving him a hard time about replacing them, though. Since it has to be listed what is in the box, everyone who handles it knows what is inside. Just the chance you take, I guess. Good luck.
  18. Several at the rally & MD had asked for the recipe. Here is mine... 1 Gallon of apple juice 1 Gallon of apple cider 1 cup sugar 1 cup brown sugar 8 4" cinnamon sticks Combine in a large pot & bring to a boil, stirring often. Let it boil for a couple minutes, then remove from heat. Once cool, add alcohol. I usually add 190 proof Everclear. I use 1 fifth + 1 pint. Sometimes I use some "other" alcohol, but as the alcohol content is different, there is a formula you have to use to get the same results. Enjoy!!
  19. Totally agree. I think for some of us...after riding so far to get there, we like to have the first day to rest and hang out with friends & make new ones. Once you have some time to rest up, then go on some rides & see other things. It's mostly about the time spent with great friends. Kinda wears you down to ride there, ride all over every day, then ride back home again.
  20. Yep. Pretty sure it was those dang Canadians at the campground.
  21. Eddyville is a very nice area. It's just a few miles up the road from us. We will be moving farther East by this October, but still won't be too far away.
  22. Here are the few pics we took.
  23. 313 Omer, from Michigan.
