I was wondering what it is until I searched it on Bing. Honestly, it reminded me of my younger sister's bike she had, while we were growing up. I find it can be problematic, if you are at a corner and you want to make a sharp left or sharp right turn. Just like what Don said, very interesting.

I didn't even feel that. lol

@Marcarlwas way away from you.By Tillsonburg!
Charged battery and load tested and it said BAD! Will take in tomorrow and double check it!
I just bought another battery a week ago for my RSV. The previous lasted a good 5 years until now. I've since been buying Duracell Moto batteries from batteries plus. No complaints in that arena.

Our weather has been a little unsettled for a few days, but today is a nice day in the upper 60s. At least today I hope to get to ride to and from work. Be safe out there.
-
I've been using Dot 3 or 4 synthetic on both my RSV and SVTC. No issues to report. All ok.

It is riding season anyway. Go and make it happen for your wife. Happy Wife=Happy Life.

I don't know about the weather on your side of the country, but in SE Pa. we are supposed to get 4 days of great weather with a high in the 60's. Ride safe all.

We are getting lots of rain of and on, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. The weather should improve for a few days next week and riding should be in our minds.

Glad to see both of you were out for a ride. Was also able to put in 50 miles last Monday. Enjoy!

Hello and Good Morning to all. A late comer in this thread. Nice to hear about the giveaway. I have an '07 and is still running strong at 65K miles. As the original owner of my 2nd gen Venture, it is here to stay until the end of time.

RIP MuffinMan.

Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year to all. For us Christians, the holidays does not end until next Sunday which is the celebration of the Three Kings. Christmas decorations stay up until that time.

Great to read about folks being able to ride. It has been almost 2 weeks now since my last ride. I think the weather will be better next week for a chance to ride before the end of the year.
-
That is true. We always have to be vigilant 100% of the time. We all need 'repeated' advice and we must all come home safe and sound. Ride safe. Thanks for posting.

Get well soon...

Get well soon, Don. I am just recovering from flu like symptoms on this end and may be able to go back to work soon. It took me at least 2 days to feel much better.

I am not one of them. lol

Praying for Joe's speedy recovery.
Oil change day
in Watering Hole
Posted
@Freebird The Harley does sound much more involved on a change oil. Good job. I am wondering why you have to do the transmission fluid? Was it due and how many miles before the next trans oil change?
I couldn't agree more that the RSV is very straightforward in terms of oil changes. My SVTC takes a little more time, since I have to measure two different amounts for the crank case and the other for the engine oil. Since my acquisition of the SVTC. I stayed with Mobil 1 and I use dino oil Rotella for the RSV.
