I can but you can't. It is too server intensive to constantly display it to all. MANY of them are spiders though.

ChrisM has been working on the Venture History pages and I think has done an absolutely fantastic job. Now bear in mind that he was working from the history page that I had up already and some of the information for later years is missing. I'll get that added soon. Actually it is WYSIWYG. I never change my fonts and etc. but just tried it and I was seeing exactly how I set everything as I typed. If you are not seeing WYSIWYG, you might was to check your settings.

The feature that allows you to hide specific forums, Watering hole, first gen tech talk, jokes, etc. is now available again. You can find it by clicking on "settings" in the upper right corner of the page. When you get to that page, click on "general settings" in the left menu. Scroll to the bottom of that page and you will see the option to exclude whichever forums you wish to. Selecting forums will hide posts to those forums from your "what's new listings" and etc. Optionally you can complete hide them from the list of forums. We also used to have an option to ignore specific threads that are posted. That is not yet averrable but is something that I will be working on in the near future.

That was a customization that I had done on the old site. Haven't gotten around to it again yet but will try to.

Just logged in under your name and had no problem adding an even to the calendar and then deleting it. I don't know what you are doing wrong.

Then why don't you just use Today's posts all the time instead of new posts. It does exactly as you say. It shows all the todays posts and the one's that you've already read are still listed but not in bold. Why would you want both , Today's Posts and New Post's" to do exactly the same thing?

Can't you just right click on each one and save it where you want on your computer? If not, let me know and I'll do it another way.

It's actually working the way that it always should have. Once you've read it, it is NOT a new post any longer and shouldn't show up as one.

Because it's not a perfect world and I am still working on all these things and testing and modifying things and trying to get it right and am tired and my head hurts and I'm getting a million emails and .... the sun is in my eyes and....

Just resized them and sent them back to you. Dang Bob....those pictures were also 2MB EACH. I resized them to 1024 and sent them all back. All 12 of the TOTAL were only 2.4 MB when I was done.

Those are links to the old classifieds that are now gone. Early has not yet posted his new ads.

It's not a matter of how many pictures you are trying to upload but how BIG the pictures are. I increased the size limits a bit but most people take pictures that are sometimes a MB and bigger and you just can't upload pictures that large. They can't be more than 1024 in size and no more than 300,000 bytes. Do you know how to resize them? If not, email them to me and I'll do it for you. You can email them to dnelson@venturerider.org

Just so you know what this is about, in spite of my posting MANY times about the classifieds being worked on and then telling people I was finished and asked our "member vendors" to please let me know if they wanted an area created under their name, I never heard anything from Wildbill and so had no added him back yet. Then I get an email from him where he is mad and feeling that he was singled out because his ads were deleted. EVERYBODY'S ads were deleted, even mine. I replied to him and told him what happened. Will be more than happy to add him back. People just need to chill out a bit though and not take everything single thing so personally.
