I’m no expert but sounds like a rod knocking. Probably needs a complete rebuild or new engine.

Beautiful roads in that area. Any biker should ride the dragon but once you’ve done it, you’ve done it. Many other nice rides all around there though.

I agree. ou are basically tearing down the entire engine and putting all the parts in a new case. The bike would have to be in premier condition or dealt loved to make it worth while. Personally, I wouldn't do it. Either find a replacement engine or scrap it.

OK folks, I really don't. care about the date but am going to throw one out to get this going. I have no problem moving it up or back if people need to. How about October 6th. Get there on Frizzy and leave sometime on Sunday? We need to get thus gaunt so we can all make reservations.

OK folks, let's see. if we can get this going. The only suggestion that came from a previous post was Hocking Hills. I was looking for something a bit further away but it works for me. So let's choose a date sometime in October. Come on now, let's get this going and have fun for a day or two. My plan would be to rent a cabin. I'll be coming alone so willing to share a two bedroom or bigger if other want to bunk. So what are your thoughts? Any interest?

I had another appointment on Wednesday. A month ago, I got injections in my one good eye in an attempt to get rid of the fluid behind my retina that is affecting my site. The doctor was very pleased with the results so far. He said that most of the fluid is gone and he is hopeful that the treatment is. going to work. I got two Moore injections in the eye and will return in 6 weeks for another test. I may need more shots at that time and in fact, it could. be an ongoing thing. He just doesn't know yet. I really can't tell that the vision has improved but he is hopeful that it will. Even if they stop it from getting worse, I'll be ok with that. So, yesterday I celebrated by taking about a 100 mile ride. Sure felt good.
