I finally got my Clearview shield. It's 4" wider, stock height, light Grey with a re-curve. It fit perfect,looks great, and does what I was hoping. We took it out on a full day ride yesterday. It really cut down on the wind buffeting that my wife got. She noticed the difference immediately. Glare is a problem, depending on the height of the sun. That can be dealt with, with a a little covering of the handlebars. The challenge that I noticed immediately, is that when looking through shield at around 10-11 and 1-2 the view is distorted. Like wearing someone else's glasses. I hope that it is just something I need to get used to. We'll see how it goes. Other than that the maiden voyage was a success.

Ordered shield on the 26th, 4" wider and stock height. They said they would have taller than stock available on the 30th. Turn around is about 15 days, then shipping time. Looking forward to getting it. Need something better that stock. Too much wind on passenger.

I have been think about getting a GPS to be used on my bike, and in our vehicles. The only time that I would need it on the bike is during my usual 2 week trip in the summer. The rest on the time it would probably be used in a vehicle. I don't require the bluetooth, but would use one capable with MP3. Cost is not an issue, but I don't want to pay for a product that offers thing I will never use. I would appreciate any advice. Thank in advance, Ron, Watrous,Sask.

I just purchased a 2008 Venture, and the front brake made a terrible noise also. I asked the dealer, and the technician about the noise, and they said it was normal break-in. As it got worse, I decided to give the front brakes a closer look. I noticed that the right side brake had both pad on the same side, and none of the other. Thus, steel on steel! Maybe your bike had the same person put it together! Ron - Watrous, Sask.
