My 96 xvs1300 Yamaha has the rubber intakes from carbs to heads are cracked seeping gas I want to know can a guy not very mechanically inclined replace them with out a problem. What tools are needed can someone attempt this job. What would an estimated guess be about what a shop might charge. Parts nLabor. Thanks my friends

My 96 1300 RS has cracked manifold boots or rubber .they are leaking gas is it an easy job? What tools are needed? And can they be patched temporarily until I get it in the shop or I can do it myself in a couple weeks .
