Dont watch a lot of TV but one of my favorite shows is "Shark Tank",, its the one where Entrepreneurs try to get backing from investors (sharks) for their newly designed products - heartbeat of the Free Enterprise System... Anyway,, this guys makes a device that shocks squirrels when they climb on a bird feeder (non lethal - even the Sharks tested it on themselves).. An interesting effect of this device was that after a couple times of being shocked the squirrels would go no where near the bird feeder (simular to a dog training electric fence) - I thought it was pretty dog gone cool!! Even after explaining to the sharks that pest control people are, by law, required to exterminate rodent pests (apparently its illegal to live trap and move them to different locations - they use poisons and snap traps), the Sharks ALL felt that shocking rodents to train them to stay away was inhumane and no one invested.. I was SHOCKED that the product didnt fly.....

Just stay away from Death Valley when your cold cheesy winds cut ol Pucster loose ,,,, ye be warned!!! YEEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAAA

I know,, wrong site but hey,, still a Yam V-4!! Wondered if any of you guys had any actual exposure to the big block... I did get a chance to see one once in a showroom but thats it,, out of all the road miles we have cranked up over the summers I have yet to see one in action... Wonder how they sound, smell, feel..... Thoughts?? Wonder what kinda fuel economy they get :rotf::rotf:

Had a furry little varmint get into the control panel on our central air (not sure if it was a mouse or a munk) and chewed on the wiring,, compressor went to ground, took it apart and discovered that the thermal protection for the compressor (fuses) were freekin INTERNAL so now the compressor has to be replaced,, nasty little fur ball did 1900 bucks worth of damage!!! Psycho Dad thinks its a conspiracy between the current Compressor manufactures and the varmints..

Hi Ty and welcome to the site!! Glad you found us!! I cant for life of me remember if your "Trial Membership" allows you to access all the sections of the site,, but if it does there are some REALLY great reads that I might suggest in addition to your desire for the maintenance day, the Tech Library is AWESOME.. Keep your eyes open here during the season and you may very well be able to "lure" a couple of us cross country riders into camping near you and spending an evening sharing our knowledge with you,,, and gleaning some too of course... Be for warned though if you do,,, there are a few of these guys that once you get em yakking about spinning wrenches on a Venture it can be hard to get them to go away.:cool10: Good luck on your search for an MD in your area,, someday I am gonna make one too!!
