  1. What kind of nut are you? We of the Venture riding persuasion laugh at 35°!!! It’s still summer! It has to be since I haven’t gotten enough riding in yet! That makes sense, right?🥶🥶🥶

  2. Will still have bike ready to go anytime this winter(bike is kept on a long dolly that can be moved around to keep near wall so I can move out anytime) as long as no ice and little salt but like you all say we are getting older and Phantom Wife is always on my case about ridding unsafe ,which I think I'm doing my best!!

  3. I respectfully disagree Don. Riding season is not coming to a close even riders like me and to anyone else in the east coast go through during the winter months. Cold weather riding is my favorite and I hope it is to ‘some’ riders out there as well. I never sweat. 😀. Please don’t get me wrong. I am not saying to anyone to go ahead a ride during the winter months. This is all about the rider’s decision to hang it up for the winter and wait for Spring or if you are like me, I ride during the winter months barring good road conditions free of snow, salt, grime and unsafe debris. I get it…some riders just don’t like cold weather and I understand that completely. However every time I see a rider all geared up and riding at 30° temps, I feel excited and I say to myself…if he is having fun, I can also have fun during the winter months. I am not responding to criticize or belittle anyone or make me look good and sound good. This is just me and I’ve enjoyed cold weather riding ever since. So FWIW, riding in the Spring, Summer, Fall and winter always have all the inherent dangers. It is important to ask yourself, ‘Are you ready to ride or not?’ If the answer is no, please don’t ride. Follow your gut, because Spring is only a few months away after all. With that said and if you have watched ‘Games of Thrones’, it is inevitable that WINTER IS COMING!
