hoghead Posted June 28, 2008 Share #1 Posted June 28, 2008 As I promised earlier here are some pictures of the Pit Bull lift. This is the air operated and I feel it was worth the extra money spent. You can use just the jack if you wish. The boxes. The lift ships at 110 pounds. http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t51/runeight/002.jpg http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t51/runeight/005-1.jpg Next we opened her up. http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t51/runeight/006-3.jpg Here are the Venture adapters. $39.00 for these. http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t51/runeight/007-1.jpg Next install the front wheels making sure the locking nuts are started correctly. Really only one way to mount. http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t51/runeight/012-4.jpg Next mount the jack to the lift. http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t51/runeight/013-4.jpg Install the lift locks. These prevent the lift from moving. http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t51/runeight/015-3.jpg Swing the saddle over the bottle jack as shown here. You can adjust the top part of the bottle jack for more height. http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t51/runeight/016.jpg Install the air chuck assembley. http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t51/runeight/019.jpg Here are the Venture adapters. http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t51/runeight/021.jpg And the finished assembly. http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t51/runeight/022-1.jpg I can not post pictures of lifting the bike at this time. Just a little warm in Arizona so it's ready to be trailered to cooler areas. http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t51/runeight/009-1.jpg I was considering a table style of lift but just don't have the room. This should work with the Hayabusa after fairing removal. Pit Bull had $50.00 off when I purchased this model. Shipping was $80.00 at that time. Not cheap but a very well made motorcycle lift. hh
Eck Posted June 28, 2008 Share #2 Posted June 28, 2008 looks like a normal bike lift but uses air or manual operation. How high does it pick your bike up from the floor?

Guest JGorom Posted June 30, 2008 Share #7 Posted June 30, 2008 I have the same lift but I went with the manual instead of air. It's solid...you probably already seen the picture and video of lifting a bike with passenger on it. Very safe and secure.
