Steve S Posted 20 hours ago #1 Posted 20 hours ago I have been struggling with going from the Venture to a trike for several months, so I bit the dust and went to check out a nice Goldwing. It was a beautiful trike and well maintained so I was really interested in it. However, I had NEVER even sat on a Wing before, so I was not prepared for the experience. I was totally shocked at the cramped feeling I got when I got settled in on it before even starting it. I told the owner it felt tight and he said he was used to it. We rode it for about 30 minutes, and the cramped feeling kept getting worse. It was a wonderful ride on a bike that handled well, But I felt so uncomfortable and cramped I had to get off ASAP. I know Honda makes a quality bike and liked the power it had, but I am going back to the drawing board to find trike with fuel injection that has more room for my long legs. And having owned a Harley Road King, I am not interested in another one. I did see a Suzuki Boulevard C90 on Facebook that looks nice, so I am going to check it out this week. 2
Motorcycle Mike Posted 9 hours ago #2 Posted 9 hours ago That's the same problem I've always had with the wing. Been on several different seats that give a little more leg room but not enough for me. Great bikes, I wish I could get comfy on one. 1
etcswjoe Posted 14 minutes ago #3 Posted 14 minutes ago I tried out a Wing and bought it, mainly due to my bad hip but found out real quick it makes you sit up and even though I thought it would be too small for my extensive bulk ad height however it has been great for me.
