made2care Posted January 16 #1 Posted January 16 Bike was running great and now. …. Urgh puff of smoke / loud pop coming from single carb . Bike does not run. All electrics work . I have spark on all 4. If my Cdi was bad , I wouldn’t have spark, correct? any help is appreciated.

made2care Posted Saturday at 11:49 AM Author #3 Posted Saturday at 11:49 AM It couldn’t be this simple!! Positive battery wire was loose… really?? She fired right up! But….. tach is out. I did check #2 and it does have spark. Bike is back up and running though, will keep assessing on the tach. 1

Paul Martin Posted 3 hours ago #6 Posted 3 hours ago The PO of my bike used SuperTech 20W-50 Full Synthetic Oil for years and I've continued using it (available at WalMart). Shifts are smooth. You might also check your linkage to make sure it moves freely. 1
