I've seen a couple of bikes with them but the answer I always get when I ask the owner about them is that the bike had them when purchased. I am looking for a set so I can install a Ring of Fire. Keep in mind that the ones on ebay are used as none have been made new for many years, so it is not uncommon for them to be pitted and rusted.
