Installed mine over the weekend. So far it works flawlessly! I am quite excited to not have to have something plugged in or charged! Not having to worry about my other Bluetooth going dead on my big ride in a few weeks makes me grin from ear to ear!

Just brought my RSV into the 21st century today. Got the same bluetooth hookup. Works great . May get ride of my Venture mp3 player now. Spotify sounding good. Had to go to a flea market to find the adapter but all is good now.

It's a great investment. I have put 1000 miles on my bike since my install and it works perfectly every time.

I found an old iPhone I wasn't using, wiped it clean, filled it with music, and use it as a music player. Bluetooth works perfect.

I can say, my CD player never made a long distance trip. It eats to much room up. So I ran a Y plug to aux in and my phone and used Pandora for a long time. On the Victory it has a connection for the Ipod and handlebar controls. Now that I have learned sort of how to load music and use it, I like it. RAM X mount your phone/Ipod and you should be pretty good to go.

Is there a good place inside the fairing to ground the Bluetooth receiver?

Yes, plenty of places to ground it. I grounded it to one of the screws on the radio bracket.
