I would like to get rid of it and put something more modern in it but maintain the original audio controls of the bike. vzuden Posted February 8, 2016 Share #2 Posted February 8, 2016 Larry, that set up, or very much like it, is what came on the new Ventures for 2013/2012 models and maybe a year or two prior to that. Mine has it but I have never used it as I bluetooth into my helmet. These bikes were set up to have the I-Simple w/Ipod in the left saddlebag. flynvy5 Posted April 4, 2016 Share #8 Posted April 4, 2016 The only drawbacks i have found. 1. it requires the 40 pin ipod/iphone. 2. it only shows 1-1 on the display. 3. no way to change playlist/albums/artist only tracks if you start a playlist you can only change out of it when you stop.
