Bert2006 Posted September 28, 2015 Share #1 Posted September 28, 2015 Will be installing the Barnett Spring Conversion kit this week on the RSV and want to make sure I have the right torque numbers? 5ft/lbs for the 5 bolts that hold the new springs on the pressure plate 7ft/lbs for the ones that hold the chrome cover on top of the whole clutch assembly Is that correct? Spent about an hour scraping the old gasket off and then about 20 minutes installing the new pressure plate and spring kit. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would say its 2 or 3...very easy. It was dark by the time I finished so only took a short test run around the subdivision and all seem ok. Had a small squeak when pulling the clutch at first but that went away after a few pulls.
