steamer Posted August 15, 2015 #1 Posted August 15, 2015 RockinRobin and I were out for an afternoon ride over to the Windmill crafts market in Penn Yan NY, while sitting at a picnic table a couple of lady's came over to ask if they could share our table, keep in mind, we were wearing our vests. As they were sitting down, one of them said " I see you are motorcycle riders" And Robin replied..... " Nope I just like to dress up like a biker" I almost fell off the bench. Well that broke the ice. We set there for the better part of an hour chit chatting as if we were long time friends. Lori and, now get this, Rocking Ronda, Yep you heard right,( hope I got their names right) are two of the nicest and funniest people you ever wanted to meet. They are here from Canada, riding the Finger Lakes area for a couple of days and we were lucky enough to meet them. We gave them the info for VR. They said the would check us out. Hope so.
Sailor Posted August 16, 2015 #2 Posted August 16, 2015 We were in Kaui last year and I met a scruffy looking guy who was half white half Hawaiian. He was manning a check point for a motorcycle rally. Wasn't too interested in the fact that my wife and I were riders. Not too friendly at first then when I mentioned we were visiting from Canada he started talking hockey. Knew all the players on all the teams. My wife is a hockey nut so they got along great. You never know.
Marcarl Posted August 16, 2015 #3 Posted August 16, 2015 I'm from Canada, and I plan to visit some day soon,,, can we talk motorcycles as well???
